GETTING READY FOR

THINGS TO KNOW

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What if I’ve never camped before?
You’ll fit right in. A lot of women come to camp having never pitched a tent or built a fire before. We’ll send a packing list, camping tips, and everything you need to know before the weekend. Your Campsite Host will help your group get prepared, too. You’ll learn by doing. That’s part of the fun.

How are campsites organized?
Campsites are groups of 6–10 women led by a Campsite Host. You can register with friends or let us place you in a group. Either way, camp has a way of making a big place feel small pretty quickly.

What if I don’t know anybody going?
Honestly, that’s pretty normal. A lot of women come solo. Before camp, your Campsite Host will connect everyone in your group so you can start getting to know each other ahead of time. By the end of the weekend, most women are wondering why they were nervous in the first place.

WOMEN'S EXPERIENCES

“I came to camp exhausted from everyday life and honestly just needing a break. What I found was space to breathe, laugh, rest, reconnect with God, and remember that joy still matters. I left feeling lighter than I had in months.”

“I’ve been to church my whole life, but Woman Camp felt different. Being outside, unplugged, surrounded by thousands of women worshiping under the stars — it broke through the noise in a way I didn’t know I needed.”

“There’s nothing polished about Woman Camp, and that’s exactly why it’s so meaningful. You show up dusty, tired, emotional, laughing, slightly outside your comfort zone, and somehow more fully alive by the end of the weekend.”

“There’s something about getting outside, away from normal life and distractions, that makes it easier to hear God again. I came overwhelmed and exhausted. I left feeling grounded, peaceful, and reminded that He hadn’t gone anywhere.”

“I borrowed camping gear, showed up nervous, and had no idea what I was doing. By the second day, our campsite felt like a neighborhood. Women were sharing snacks, helping each other set up camp, praying together, laughing constantly, and making complete strangers feel like lifelong friends.”

“Woman Camp gave me space to slow down long enough to realize how tired my soul really was. I left reminded that God is still good, still present, and still inviting me into something deeper.”

“I showed up to Woman Camp carrying a lot more than camping gear. Life had felt loud for a long time, and somewhere along the way I stopped slowing down long enough to notice what was happening in my own soul. Out there, away from normal routines and distractions, something shifted. Between worship under the tent, conversations around the fire, and quiet moments walking through the woods, I felt God meet me in a way that was gentle, honest, and deeply personal. I came home feeling lighter, clearer, and more alive than I had in a long time.”

“I almost didn’t come because I didn’t know anyone and had never camped before. By the end of the weekend, I was sitting around a fire laughing with women who felt like old friends. Somewhere between the open sky, worship under the tent, and getting away from normal life, I felt more like myself again than I have in a long time.”

“I didn’t come to camp expecting some huge emotional moment. But throughout the weekend, God kept meeting me in small, quiet ways that ended up changing me more than I expected.”

“I came to camp hoping to clear my head for a weekend. I didn’t expect God to meet me there the way He did. Somewhere between worship under the tent, quiet walks through the woods, and late-night conversations around the fire, I felt Him closer than I had in a long time.”
